Travellers recognised Zagreb Airport as one of Europe’s best in 2018 in its size category, the global trade organisation Airports Council International (ACI) reported this week. The report is based on a survey on airport quality including travellers from around the world. The airport was placed in the 2-5 million category, sharing the ASQ Awards given to European airports, with UK’s London City Airport and Southampton Airport, and Estonia’s Tallinn Airport in Estonia. This is Zagreb Airport’s second AQS Award since being rennovated in 2017, when it won the Best Improved Airport in Europe award. The survey, introduced in 2006, is conducted across 390 airports in 90 countries around the world, and includes polling of 650,000 passengers every year before they board their flights.
