Kosovo’s president Hashim Thaci announced that he would resign or call a referendum if the Assembly does not approve an agreement with Belgrade. According to this agreement, Kosovo would get three municipalities in central Serbia – Bujanovac, Preševo and Medvedja. Thaci reiterated that Prishtina cannot afford to threaten a strategic alliance with the USA and that it should abolish tariffs on goods from central Serbia.
