According to the national coordinator between the governments of Kosovo and Albania, Fatmir Ljimaj, roaming tariffs in telecommunications between Kosovo and Albania will be lifted in May.  Many other agreements between the two states will be implemented soon, Ljumaj added. Kosovo’s assembly passed a resolution to abolish roaming tariffs last June. The European Union has appealed to all Western Balkans states to abolish roaming tariffs in order to make communications easier.
